What a weekend!

I'm just going to get right to it! Saturday we went to a wedding shower held at mother's house. CONGRAT'S TO ANGELICA AND JAMES!!! We all had a wonderful time and we got to show off Xavier to friends who haven't seen him. Then we were off to N.J. to visit my friend Michele since the 5th grade, who happened to be pregnant only 3wks ahead of me. It was a good drive and it was very nostalgic to see the oooold neighborhood. So I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!

Xavier finally got to meet his other side of the family and we're looking forward to seeing Kaysen on her first birthday!!!

Sunday we went to the dog park, it was too funny! Vita thinking that she is person went and greeted all the people there. I'll give her credit though, she did let some dogs sniff her derriere. Then we went to the schuykill river walking trail. Xavier was in his umbrella stroller carrying a bottle of water that he kept dropping. The weather was perfect to be outside. Later we were invited to Xavier's first pool party. So exciting! I went and bought him his first pair of swim pants, too cute! When we got there we headed straight for the pool and I couldn't wait to get him in. The water was cold, so I wasn't sure that Xavier would be able to tolerate it. But he did! :) He absolutely LOVED, LOVED IT!!! I sat at the edge of the pool holding him on the steps to start out first. Then we went to the next step going in a little deeper, he did not mind the water going up to his shoulders. I was swinging him slowly back and forth as he leaned back into the water. If you could only hear his laughter! He wasn't scared at all during the whole time we were in the pool and he only cried when I had to take him out.
I definitely want my boy to be comfortable with the water and be able to swim. What better time than now while he still has his baby instinct to swim. Marc and I are soooo proud of him!!! We love you boy!
