He started doing this with his blanket a couple of days ago. Oh yeah, I think he's teething:)

5 1/2
Xavier is 5 and 1/2 months old now. He's been quit the chatter box, he sounds like an owl sometimes when he coo's(my favorite sound he makes). He likes to grab the back of my hair when he's excited, "OUCH!". Most of the time it's the little hairs at the base of my neck which hurts the most. Now I just wear my hair in a pony tail and anticipate his excitement.
He still doesn't like to be on his tummy for too long, long being 5 min. He started last week with pushing off with his legs while on his belly, so even though he's not on his stomach for long he still is progressing well.
The zantac he's been taken for his reflux has helped him alot during meal times. It's funny when I give him his medication, he see's the syringe he gets so excited. He'll have his little arms and legs going like he's going to take off and fly. But when I bring the syringe to his mouth he makes a "yucky face". He takes it all down though and doesn't spit out a drop. So he's eating very well, he likes all of his fruits and veggies, but I think possibly the pears he might be allergic too.
I have to mention, Xavier reminded me that he has his moments when HE wants to roll over. Yesterday I put him down in his crib after feeding him. Usually I put him in our bed for naps because he seems to be able to sleep better. So after waking up from his nap which seemed like it only lasted about 15min. I brought him to bed and tried to get him to go back to sleep. All he wanted to do was just keep laughing at me and making his "I'm excited!"noise. Over and over he'd just laugh and I tried not to break out of my "I'm sleepy, your sleepy too" face.
Anyway, after awhile he started to roll onto his tummy himself with out me encouraging him. When he starts rolling he just kept rolling over and over again. Then eventually he fell asleep.
I have so much fun with him, sometimes we'll just lay in bed and just play without any toys. Just blankets. He loves to put his blanket in his mouth and chew on it. We'll play peek-a-boo with his blanket and go under them and laugh. We babble to each other and kanoodle. I call it my "kanoodle with doodle". This is when we smile, sigh, I give him kisses and I tell him I love him. We'll also play "if your happy and you know it..." and practice sitting up and standing. I could go on and on. I'm absolutely loving our time together. That's why Valentine's Day is just like any other day for us!

I got a 2 day weekend!
hey everybody! It's the father figure! Just doing a quick posting, while I have a minute. I've been getting so much overtime on the job, it's been very hard to get on the computer at all let alone write. I got to spend most of my day with Sonny-boy, we TRIED to give Mama a little break. He's such a little character. Lets see, he's teething now, if he can reach it, it's in his mouth. He fights going to sleep at bedtime, it's funny, adorable and tiring at the same time. He loves to play, and vocally he's becoming much more expressive. He can squeal with delight, or whine his little butt off when he's upset. we're lovin our little man. Check out the pics!

This picture is blurry because thats what he looks like when he gets something near his mouth. Baby-boy gets all "tazmanian devil" on us! YARGHARGH!

Xav' had his blood pressure taken like a big boy for the first time a couple of weeks ago. remember Sonia had written about his heart murmur? well there we are having it checked out. Thank God he's fine. The Doc says it's barely detectable, and he'll likely lose it as he grows.

He's happy and he knows it...therefore he claps his hands, or tries to.

Me and my little man earlier today. Man sometimes I wish I could take him to work with me. We'd have a lotta fun. Somedays I'm sure Sonia wishes I'd take him to work also. Hehn hehn!

Just one word. GANGSTA.

We do this thing now when I come home from work, I'll throw my mail cap on him backwards, and he loves it as you can see. It's great coming home every night. O.k., gotta go! till next time, God bless!

Happy Valentines!
Me and my lil' valentine spent the day like any other day. Laughing, hugging, sweet talking each other and of course playing. I'm just so blessed to have my lil' love bug here with me.
It's all made possible by my sweetheart, my love, my Marc. With all of his hard work and long hours he makes it possible for me to stay home and care for our son. I truly appreciate him as a husband and a father. I love you always!
