Intro. to Classical

Last week Marc and I were at Toys'R'Us looking for a music cd to play for the baby. There were so many to choose from, at first I had in mind to get nusery rhyme songs or something like that to buy. But after looking over the cd's that were there and thinking how I'd most likely get tired of "the wheels on the bus..." by the time Xaviers here. I needed to consult further with Marc, he suggested classical music. I decided to get baby einstein's beethoven. I play it for Xavier sometimes before bed, the first time I played it for him he stayed really quiet when usually he is active at bedtime. I play it in the morning when I wake up and right now I have it playing in the baby room. I was just in there dusting and moving some things around. I just love being in his room. I can't wait til he's here. I'm on a june countdown! Looking forward to July, then it will be a countdown to my B-day,7-15, then july will be half over!
I can't wait to hear him cry for the first time.
And of course I'm enjoying every second of having my sweety sweetpea in my belly. I enjoy when he kicks my arm when I rest it on my belly, enjoy when he gives me one of his big kicks, and when he responds to my voice or when I have music playing.
I absolutly loved it a day ago. It was early morning, Xavier was still and I was laying in bed also quiet. Marc came in and to say his goodbyes and gave us each a kiss before heading out to work. Marc took but two steps towards the door and Xavier started with two kicks and he didn't stop there. He was moving around and giving me those hard kicks that I love. I know he loves to hear his daddy talk!

The picture that I have posted on top of this blog is one of my latest work:) Finally it's finished! I just added some finishing touches to it today and I hope Xavier will like it.

Our little Prince.

Sonia - I love hearing you talk about the baby. It's so beautiful. I'm not surprised that Marc suggsted classical music for Xavier. Marc probably remembers my playing it at night. Beethoven is a good choice. It's so relaxing. I'm so impressed that the baby responds to Marc's voice. I can hardly wait to see all of you together! He's going to be Daddy's (and Mommy's) little boy!!!
