Hellllooo 3rd trimester!!!!

28 WEEKS!!!

Xavier is so sensitive to my touch, when I was taking this picture he was kicking my hand. He has been so active it seems like all the time. I told Marc that Xavier is going to have a muscular body when he's born from all the nonstop kicking that he does:) He's definately not going to be the shy and quiet type!

The clothes on the dresser we bought this past sunday when we went to a new outlet shopping center. After shopping for Marc we went to check out the baby stores. We were going to see the Disney store, but unfortunately it hadn't opened yet:(
So we went to Carter's baby store instead. I was in heaven! All the baby clothes to chose from and the prices were excellent. So much cute little outfits to choose from I know Xavier felt my excitement because he was moving around a bit.

I bought this black basket to hold diapers, creams etc. instead of the usual plastic organizers. When I was at Babies'R'Us I bought lotion, A&D ointment, and powder. And I all most forgot I bought a wrist alligator rattle, I think it's so cute.
But later of course Marc and I had to fill the basket, it looked a little empty? So we went to Target and bought diapers and baby oil and a wipes warmer. Later it still seemed a little empty so at the grocery store I bought vaseline, vicks rub and a little red cross bag filled with a thermometer, nail clippers, aspirator etc. It's been so much fun buying for Xavier, I can't wait til he's here.

getting there IS half the fun...

...it's true! as you can see Sonia is getting into the "very pregnant" stage of the process. Although I know she's getting tired of me staring at her baby belly, I can't help it. I've waitied so long to see my wife this way, and she's just as beautiful as I knew she'd be. We're done with the nursery now, and the only thing left to do now is wait. "Sonny-boy" is getting more active all the time. Everytime I put my face to Sonia's tummy I can count on gettin' kicked upside the head.(hopefully this is something Xavier does not plan on continuing once he's out here with us!)

I've Graduated!

Today I had my monthly appointment at the OB and of course(thank God)baby is doing well along with myself. I'm so happy that my pregnancy has been going great and that I am progressing well. I'm healthy and so is my little Xavier. Every visit I've been losing a pound, which I'm also happy about. After hearing boys heartbeat the doctor told me to come back in 2 weeks! I had to repeat him to make sure that I heard correctly, "2 weeks". "that's right, 2 weeks" he said with a big smile on his face. Hearing this made me so excited. I've graduated from 4 to 2 weeks!!! YAY! Also I was given a sheet to note Xavier's movement each day. I remember a lady on her way to schedule an appointment, making comments about tracking her babys kicks while looking at the paper she had in her hand . And at the time I couldn't wait to be as far along as she was and to be given the same paper she had. I'm just so happy, I'll be seeing Xavier in no time!

He's in my dreams!

This morning before I woke up I was dreaming that I was working at one of my old jobs. I was just talking to some people when I felt the baby kick. I looked down at my belly and saw him kick me again. I looked up at the other ladies with a smile on my face and told them that my baby was kicking me. Xavier must of kicked me four or five times in my dream, it felt very real. When I woke up he was kicking me, kicking those hard kicks that I like. It's funny to think that he coming into my dreams, reminding me he is here too. I love this boy!

Intro. to Classical

Last week Marc and I were at Toys'R'Us looking for a music cd to play for the baby. There were so many to choose from, at first I had in mind to get nusery rhyme songs or something like that to buy. But after looking over the cd's that were there and thinking how I'd most likely get tired of "the wheels on the bus..." by the time Xaviers here. I needed to consult further with Marc, he suggested classical music. I decided to get baby einstein's beethoven. I play it for Xavier sometimes before bed, the first time I played it for him he stayed really quiet when usually he is active at bedtime. I play it in the morning when I wake up and right now I have it playing in the baby room. I was just in there dusting and moving some things around. I just love being in his room. I can't wait til he's here. I'm on a june countdown! Looking forward to July, then it will be a countdown to my B-day,7-15, then july will be half over!
I can't wait to hear him cry for the first time.
And of course I'm enjoying every second of having my sweety sweetpea in my belly. I enjoy when he kicks my arm when I rest it on my belly, enjoy when he gives me one of his big kicks, and when he responds to my voice or when I have music playing.
I absolutly loved it a day ago. It was early morning, Xavier was still and I was laying in bed also quiet. Marc came in and to say his goodbyes and gave us each a kiss before heading out to work. Marc took but two steps towards the door and Xavier started with two kicks and he didn't stop there. He was moving around and giving me those hard kicks that I love. I know he loves to hear his daddy talk!

The picture that I have posted on top of this blog is one of my latest work:) Finally it's finished! I just added some finishing touches to it today and I hope Xavier will like it.
